After the hugely successful 2014 Art for Cure Exhibition, organisers Belinda Gray and Sally Ball are organising a second event at Glemham Hall between Saturday 30th April and Monday 2nd May, 10.00am – 5.00pm and we’re proud to be supporting them.
The 2014 exhibition saw chosen charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer (now rebranded Breast Cancer Now) receive £100,000 of the £200,000 sales made that weekend, to help in its battle to fight breast cancer; a disease that both Belinda and Sally have been successfully treated for in the last 3 years.
We’ve stepped up as one of the sponsors for the high profile 2016 event which is expected to be more successful than the last. There will be over 80 artists and sculptors exhibiting in Glemham Hall itself and the Art for Cure ‘Make a Mark’ campaign will open up the chance to bid for a number of unique celebrity canvasses kick started by locally grown musician Ed Sheeran. His canvas joins a number of celebrity canvasses in the auction line up including Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance, Jim Broadbent, Dame Joan Collins, Eddie Izzard, Deborah Meaden and Delia Smith.
Art for Cure’s Emma Lloyd sent us this message: “We are so incredibly grateful to you for being a generous Art For Cure sponsor this year. Your support really means the world to us and with the hive of activity in the lead up, we are optimistic the event is going to be an enormous fundraising success.”
We hope you’ll join us in supporting this fabulous event.
