Dan, Claire and Alex Barr, from our very own Anglia Factors, have joined a team of 45 cyclists setting off for the ultimate challenge – a 450km endurance bike through Vietnam and Cambodia. The team, who are raising money for Art for Cure, which supports Breast Cancer Now, will undertake the gruelling 10 day challenge in blazing heat and high humidity.
Art for Cure, a local Suffolk registered charity, is a cause close to the Anglia Factor teams heart. Since their first exhibition, AFC have raised over £300,000 through the sale of art and sculpture and have donated generously to a number of local projects aimed at significantly improving services to breast cancer patients in Suffolk.
If you would like to support Dan, Claire and Alex, please donate through their Just Giving page all money raised will go directly to fund cutting edge research and the palliative care for men and women battling breast cancer.
Good luck to all of the riders taking part – we will keep you update on their progress!!!
