Your bathroom and your bedroom are both used every single day. And yet, most people view them as just functional, practical components of everyday life. Here we take a look at the latest design trends to sweep the nation.
Inspired by the latest interior design trends which favour a more striking look, we’re designing spaces using bolder colours, dark wood finishes and metallic detailing. These strong foundations, coupled with eye-catching textures can really rejuvenate a bedroom, dressing area or bathroom, giving it an indulgent and luxurious feel.
Add some colour
There has been a definitive move in 2018, towards exciting shades such as a violets, navies and emeralds, which can help to liven up your space. These are beautifully complimented, by trending dark wood tones and accompanying metallic handles.
Don’t tiptoe around texture
Texture is also big this year, and the switch to more colourful and indulgent interiors, can be beautifully enhanced with rattan and wicker furniture. At a time when embellishment, and rough edged finishes play a key visual role, handmade furniture could be the answer.
Show off your shower
There is also a current trend, for making the shower the focal point of the bathroom instead of just an add-on. Greater character is being brought to bathrooms, through the growing trend of shiny, streamlined metallic showers and sinks, livening up a functional room in a bright and interesting way.
We’re working with Drench
This year, Anglia Factors has partnered with UK manufacturers Drench, to bring the latest trendy look to your shower. By combining lazer cut powder coated aluminium sheets with the high-quality glass which it is folded and welded around, this bold new shower line is sure to give not only your shower, but your whole bathroom a modern, glamorous look.
“We’re delighted to be working with Anglia Factors,” says Drench’s Wayne Lyons. “Our shower enclosures fit in really well with many other high-end and luxury brands on display in the Martlesham showroom. We think it’s time shower enclosures got a bold new rethink. And after several years of research and development, we’re now offering a great range of stylish designs that will liven up that once ignored space in the bathroom. Not only will these deigns compliment the latest trends in the bathroom design, but will give your bathroom a sleek look of its own.”
